Notes: First published in 1996, Yoshitaka Amano’s Yousei Fairies was published which was later used to create the anime series Yadai no Yousei: N.Y Salad in 2007 and 2008. Each of the individual characters in the story are small vegetable fairies that live in a N.Y kitchen! This sweet looking series aired on NHK Educational TV where each episode was 5 minutes long. Later in 2010 a movie was released featuring the characters from the anime series. I managed to get this clear file with a bundle of special Yoshitaka Amano Exibition items – it was wonderful to see other works by the artist and I do especially love this fairy artwork!
